The Chicago College of 表演艺术 is home to world-class 音乐, 剧院, and Interdisciplinary conservatories. You may attend hundreds of free shows from our students and artist faculty. Catch performances from the Grammy-winning artists, Broadway sensations and opera stars who also teach our classes.
The Auditorium 剧院
Built by Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan, the historic Auditorium 剧院 is one of Chicago’s architectural gems. Students can watch a Broadway musical or see a concert without leaving campus. Recent headliners include Chance the Rapper, Death Cab for Cutie and author David Sedaris.
盖奇画廊
盖奇画廊 showcases documentary photography from internationally known and emerging artists. Exhibitions address the big social issues of our time through photos. In recent shows, artists explored immigration, civil rights and urban sustainability. 你知道吗?? Roosevelt offers art electives that could apply towards your degree.
A Vibrant Cultural Community
At Roosevelt, you’re at the center of Chicago’s museum and theatre districts. Get out there and explore. You and your classmates can enjoy performances at the city’s most recognized cultural centers.
Roosevelt also hosts events to celebrate our inclusive community, as diverse and unique as Chicago itself. You can learn the rumba during Hispanic Heritage Month or study African American spirituals with guest artists.
